Highly commended: Supply Chain Excellence Awards
November 2023
On 9th November 2023, Findel achieved a special recognition at the Supply Chain Excellence Awards.
Having being shortlisted for the APL Logistics Retail Supply Chain Excellence Award amongst some of the most recognised businesses in the UK; ASDA, Screwfix and Primark, Findel received a high commendation from the judges with Seasalt taking the winning position.
The Supply Chain Excellence Awards was created to set the benchmark for supply chain best practices and have been running for 26 years, with entries coming in from all across the UK and Europe.
Some of Findel’s supply chain developments over the last few years include our Packsize custom box sizing machine to reduce waste, expanding our list of suppliers to accommodate for the pandemic and global supply chain issues, and using DPD’s electric-only vans to reduce emissions from deliveries.
The Judges particularly appreciated our entry, highlighting what an SME can achieve in enhancing its supply chain, especially through our collaboration with DPD and other partners. The commendation specifically acknowledged our outstanding service levels as well as our innovation at our Product & Logistics Centre in Nottingham. Additionally, our ESG strategy was recognised, further showcasing our dedication to sustainability and responsible business practices.
