FY23 impact report

January 2024

Exciting news!

Over the past few months we’ve been working on collating our very first impact report, to showcase the amazing initiatives and the impactful social work carried out during FY23.

This report captures the positive social impact taken place from April 2022 – March 2023 that makes a big difference to the lives of many children and young people.

When we embarked on our ESG journey having children and their education was firmly at its core, with all activities supporting this ethos we’re proud to have achieved so much in our first year.

Some of the key highlights include:

  • +2000 trees planted with Just one Tree & Ecologi
  • +500 students supported through mock interviews & careers talks
  • 437 hours volunteered within the community
  • 165 pupils received a free breakfast every school day at a Findel & Greggs Foundation breakfast club school

We’d like to thank the entire Findel family, without the support, generosity and sense of care of our colleagues, suppliers, customers and partners we wouldn’t have been able to achieve such great outcomes.

Chris Mahady, Findel CEO said:

“Reading this report gives me a huge sense of pride in how much fantastic work we are doing on every front, environmental, social and governmental, it is amazing to see how far we have come as a business and how this sits very much at the heart of our business today.”

“There is so much more that we can do, it’s all about the future, and making that difference every day.”

Have a read and join us in celebrating the meaningful work we’ve accomplished together so far!

This is just the beginning with the FY24 impact report coming later on this year with further progress being made against all areas every week! We’re excited to see what 2024 brings supporting children and young people across the UK.
