Findel Supports Burnley FC in the Community Charity Golf Day, Raising Over £15,000!
September 2024
Findel colleagues Dave Horrocks, Matt Burton, and Rob Goulding recently took part in the annual charity golf event hosted by Burnley Football Club in the Community (BFCitC). This fantastic event, designed to raise vital funds for BFCitC, was a huge success, raising over £15,000 to support their ongoing community work.
As a registered charity and the official charitable arm of Burnley FC, BFCitC is dedicated to making a real difference in the local area. Their mission goes beyond football, using the power of sport, education, and health initiatives to transform lives. They currently deliver over 50 community projects, covering areas such as mental health support, employability programs, education outreach, and more, all aimed at improving the lives of people across Burnley and surrounding communities.
With 21 teams taking part in the charity golf day, it was a full day of friendly competition, fundraising, and fun. Findel was proud to be one of the event sponsors, alongside Singleton Engineering, with Pennine Pneumatic Services kindly donating the golf balls.
Team Findel teed off in style and ended up bringing home the winner’s trophy! It was a fantastic day, supporting a truly impactful cause.
The funds raised from this year’s golf day will help BFCitC continue delivering their essential programs, touching countless lives across the region. At Findel, we’re always proud to stand behind causes that bring positive change to local communities, and this event was no exception.
We’d like to extend a huge thank you to Burnley FC in the Community for organizing such a meaningful event and to everyone involved for their generosity and participation. We can’t wait for next year!
