Findel Sponsors Children’s Mental Health Week in Partnership with Place2Be
February 2025
The initiative is a vital campaign that encourages conversation and action around the mental health of young people. The sponsorship of Children’s Mental Health Week is part of Findel’s ongoing partnership with Place2Be, which has been the company’s annual charity partner since May 2024.
With 30 years of experience, Place2Be has been a cornerstone in UK schools, currently offering mental health support to children and young people in over 500 schools through one-to-one and group counselling sessions. The charity also provides expert training and professional qualifications to educators and mental health professionals
In the last school year, Place2Be reached over 300,000 children, including 30,000 pupils who independently scheduled their own appointments to speak to one of its mental health professionals.
To support this year’s Children’s Mental Health Week, Findel team members have taken part in their ‘clocking miles, raising smiles’ fundraising activity that saw over 50 colleagues from across the UK participate in an active challenge. This comprised walking, running or cycling over 450 miles collectively to raise both funds and awareness of the importance of mental health for children and young people.
Claire Gleave, Head of the Findel Foundation, said:
“Supporting children’s mental health has always been a priority for us and we were thrilled to be an official sponsor of Children’s Mental Health Week. By working closely with Place2Be, we aim to make a tangible difference in the lives of children across the UK, ensuring they have the support and resources they need to thrive. It was fantastic to see our colleagues embrace the challenge and come together to fundraise for such an important cause.”

Findel is delivering the year-long charity partnership with Place2Be through the Findel Foundation. This long-term initiative from Findel aims to provide ongoing support to a range of children’s education, wellbeing and environmental causes throughout the UK.
Jacqui Segal, Director of Fundraising, Communications & Marketing from Place2Be commented:
“Place2Be is incredibly grateful for the ongoing support from Findel. Their commitment to raising funds and awareness for children’s mental health is truly inspiring.
The generosity of Findel colleagues allows us to reach more children and families in need of emotional support. We are thrilled to see the impact of their efforts throughout Children’s Mental Health Week and beyond.”
