Findel Foundation unveils Impact Report for FY24, highlighting continued commitment to community support
November 2024
Findel is proud to announce the release of its Impact Report for FY24, providing an in-depth look at the company’s significant contributions to communities across the UK through the Findel Foundation. Covering the period from April 2023 to March 2024, the report highlights the company’s work in key areas including volunteering, charitable partnerships, breakfast clubs, and the support of the Rio Ferdinand Foundation.
Since its inception almost two years ago, the Findel Foundation has been committed to supporting long-term, meaningful change across communities, with a focus on helping children and young people achieve a brighter future. Through collaborations with partners such as the Greggs Foundation, the foundation has continued to grow its impact, reaching more children and making a tangible difference.
Key Highlights from the FY24 Impact Report:
- Supporting over 650 pupils per day – Through our ongoing partnership with the Greggs Foundation, Findel has been able to provide essential breakfast support to over 650 children daily, ensuring that they start their school day with the nourishment they need to learn and grow.
- 28% of Findel colleagues engaged in volunteering – More than a quarter of Findel colleagues have contributed their time and skills to community initiatives, supporting local charities, schools, and projects that help people in need. These volunteering efforts have included everything from mentoring students to organising charity events and fundraisers.
- Over 300 work experience opportunities – In alignment with the Gatsby Benchmarks, Findel has delivered over 300 work experience opportunities to local schools, providing students with the chance to gain real-world insight and skills to help them transition successfully into their careers.
- Growing partnerships for lasting change – Since its launch, the Findel Foundation has seen substantial growth, with an expanding network of partners who share our vision for a better future. Partnerships with the Greggs Foundation, and the Rio Ferdinand Foundation have been instrumental in our ability to scale our support for young people across the UK.
“I’m incredibly proud of the strides we’ve made over the past year and of the collective impact we’ve had on the communities we serve,” said Chris Mahady, CEO at Findel. “The progress we’ve made is a testament to the dedication and passion of all our colleagues, partners, and everyone involved in the Findel Foundation. It’s inspiring to see how we’re all working together to make a difference, and we’re excited for the next 12 months as we continue to support even more children, schools, and local communities.”
A Long-Term Commitment to Positive Change
Since its creation, the Findel Foundation has aimed to make a lasting impact by focusing on initiatives that drive sustainable change. Through initiatives like our breakfast clubs and work experience programs, we are committed to helping young people overcome barriers to success and supporting those in need. But our work doesn’t stop here: we remain focused on the future, and look forward to deepening our partnerships and expanding our reach over the coming year.
As Findel looks ahead to FY25, the company is committed to building on the momentum of the past two years and continuing to develop its initiatives to further benefit communities across the UK.
“We’re incredibly grateful to all of our partners who have joined us on this journey, including the Greggs Foundation, the Rio Ferdinand Foundation, and others who have helped us extend our reach and create meaningful change. It is only through collaboration that we can make the kind of lasting impact we envision,” said Claire Gleave.
