Findel Education and Burnley FC in The Community Announce Partnership to Support Local Schools

February 2025

Findel Education is proud to announce a new partnership with Burnley FC in the Community, the official charity of Burnley Football Club. As a leading provider of educational resources and innovative solutions, Findel Education is committed to positively impacting children, their education, and their environment. Through the Findel Foundation, we invest over £100,000 annually to support children and young people across various community initiatives.

Burnley FC in the Community delivers more than 53 programmes in the local area, working across 60 schools and engaging with 9,734 young people during the 2023/24 season. This new collaboration presents a fantastic opportunity to further support schools across Burnley, creating new avenues for positive change and engagement within the local education community.

Chris Mahady, CEO of Findel Education, said:

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Burnley FC in the Community. This partnership brings together the incredible work already being done by the BFCiTC team and the resources and expertise of Findel and our Davies Sport brand. Our educational brands and products will help support teaching and learning outcomes for schools in Lancashire and Yorkshire, and we look forward to working closely with the BFCiTC team to make a lasting impact.”

Ben Bottomley, Head of Partnerships and Fundraising at Burnley FC in the Community, added:

“We are incredibly excited about this new partnership with Findel and Davies Sports. Our collaboration will benefit the majority of primary schools in the local area and provide additional opportunities and events for students to engage with. Together, we aim to continue our mission of changing young lives and supporting our local community.”
